NAT’s Mainstage Productions
In our inaugural season, NAT set out to produce only musicals. During the year, we found that we were missing out on several great opportunites by limiting our productions. Now in our second season, NAT will offer both plays and musicals, including new works by local writers, along with our popular cabaret and new instrumental music series.

Based on the outlandish, and true, chronicles of David Sedaris’ experience as Crumpet the Elf in Macy’s SantaLand display, this hilarious cult classic features comic encounters during the height of the holiday crunch.
Our little Macy’s elf knows a thing or two about faking the Yuletide spirit. But you won’t be faking a good time when your sides split as this comedy tells the real-life story of Sedaris’ tour of duty as Crumpet the Elf, and what it takes to juggle tots and tottering Santas during a painfully festive time of the year. A laugh ’til you cry evening of merrily subversive entertainment!
The Santaland Diaries is recommended for mature audiences.
